Hamburg´s Elbphilharmonie, designed by Herzog&deMeuron, takes center stage in C09. Also featured in this number, an innovative humanitarian project developed by IKEA for refugee camps, recently awarded with the Bezley Design of 2016. Besides, Cosentino City opens its first showroom in Spain, right in the the centre of Madrid. Finally, we review irish illustrator Nigel Peake´s  latest series, Drawing Cities. This number focuses on different innovative projects in various fields such as architecture, with BIG´s triangular skyscraper in NYC, or art throughoutsurreal photos taken by Maria Svarbova in soviet pools around Slovenia. In the front page, Doñana seen from the air, a photographic project carried out by Héctor Garrido, in which he captures unbelievably beautiful images from the Spanish natural reservoir. This beauty explosion continues over to Rotterdam´s market, by MVRDV architecture studio. In addition, and not far away from Rotterdam, Spanish studio Cruz y Ortiz finish the second and last phase of the renovation of Rijksmuseum, in Amsterdam.
